Welcome What is the Community Foundation of East Central Florida? We are a non-profit, public charity created by and for the people of Volusia, Flagler, and Putnam Counties in East Central Florida. Donors, whether individually or with the assistance of their financial advisors, most often use us to establish permanent charitable funds to support the causes and organizations they care about. We manage these collective funds for long-term growth and make distributions from them back into the community, as the donors intended, forever. The Foundation offers donors personalized philanthropic services and planned-giving strategies that are creative, cost-effective and tax-efficient. At the same time, we provide an enduring source of capital that non-profits in this community can access to build their capacity and meet ever-increasing needs. That’s why many people think of us as the community’s “savings account”.
